Comprehensive blood tests

At The Phlebotomist, our goal is to make private blood testing as simple and reliable as possible. You can order blood test kits directly from us, with everything included in one clear price:

  • Your test kit
  • A professional blood draw carried out by an experienced phlebotomist
  • A bespoke doctor’s report on your results

Samples from our test kits are analysed in UKAS-accredited UK laboratories. Results are reviewed by doctors and securely emailed to you, typically within around 4–5 working days, depending on the test.

Whether you want to check your energy levels, track your hormones, or book a full health MOT, we’re here to make blood testing straightforward and accessible.

Using your own kit?

Already have a blood test kit from another provider? We can collect your sample and prepare it according to the instructions supplied with your kit. Please bring your kit and all relevant paperwork to your appointment.

Blood draws

We offer a standalone blood draw service for clients who already have a test request form from their GP, consultant, private clinician or employer.

Our phlebotomists can collect your sample at our Swindon clinic, at home or in the workplace. We aim to make every appointment calm, professional and straightforward.

If you are using a private test kit or another provider, we can collect, label and prepare your sample in line with the instructions supplied with your kit or request.

Please note:

We do not interpret results from external test providers. Any questions about your results should be directed to your GP or clinician. 

Centrifuge from £110

Some blood tests require blood samples to be centrifuged before they are returned to the laboratory for analysis. Centrifugation separates the different components of the blood sample, preparing it for testing where required.

This appointment includes your blood draw, centrifugation of your sample (where required), and preparation ready for laboratory transport.

Important information

  • Appointments are typically allocated up to 45 minutes.
  • Please send us a copy of your blood test kit instructions before your appointment. This allows us to confirm the sample processing requirements, ensure sufficient time is allocated, and identify whether any additional processing is required.
  • Appointments requiring additional processing or extended appointment times may incur an additional charge. Any additional costs will always be discussed with you before your appointment.
  • If you’re unsure whether your blood test requires centrifugation, please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to advise.
